Situated at the outskirts of Taipei City, this residence, designed by Kuo-Chen Mo, presents a space full of unique personal characteristics and a distinguishing lifestyle. The designer's genuine taste of style and aesthetics, combined with the family's life preferences, has resulted in a home that truly reflects their individuality.

The foyer, decorated mainly in elegant Prussian blue, serves as a transitional medium connecting the outdoor and indoor spaces. It not only adds an exclusive characteristic to the residence but also sets the tone for the rest of the design.

The public space, consisting of the living room, study room, dining room, and kitchen, is furnished delicately with wooden floors and ceilings, creating a pleasant wood-cabin atmosphere. The dining room and kitchen, adorned with grey-brick walls, wooden ceilings, and exquisite orange chandeliers, manifest a unique ambiance reminiscent of a Nordic wine cellar. This dignified transformation of past life experiences in Scandinavia into a new residence is truly remarkable.

Behind the living room, an open-style study room with a working table provides an independent working environment without sacrificing precious family interaction. This thoughtful design allows for a harmonious balance between work and family life.

The doors of the residence have become an intimate medium bonding the family together. Children's drawings are attached using magnets, creating a personalized and heartwarming touch to the space.

Completed in 2017, this 130-square-meter residence showcases the designer's attention to detail and commitment to creating a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The combination of unique design elements, carefully selected materials, and the family's personal touch has resulted in a home that truly represents their lifestyle.

This design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design.
